Amy Lee, a North Carolina native, has studied art at both the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of Ulster School of Design in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In Spring 2009 she graduated magna cum laude from UNCG with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design. Amy currently lives and works in Knoxville, TN. She has displayed her artwork at multiple galleries in the city including Regas Restaurant, Remedy Coffee Shop, and The Golden Roast Café.

The exhibited works are visual interpretations of the subconscious. Each design is acquired through the manipulation of text. The individual words and statements used within these works are drawn from Amy's personal dream journal and abstracted to create unique free-flowing images that serve as visual representations of these dreams.
