I was in Santa Fe 1969-1971 and one day Georgia O'Keefe said: "Barry, here's an old Nikon 35 mm camera. I'm sick of looking at you. Go take some pictures." I left Santa Fe and went home to Chattanooga. In 1973 I moved to Knoxville, then to Maryville, then to Louisville. Five or six years ago I remembered what Georgia O'Keefe told me. Except that now there were digital cameras even I could use. It's a May/December marriage. I shoot pictures every day. I know the world doesn't need another photographer. I can't help myself, however.
